This
much loved Audi S5 is sadly being put up for sale despite being it
being a great car for the last 5 years. We are expanding our family, and
as much as we would love to keep it we have already purchased a new
larger car which is why we are having to sell it. It runs like a dream,
has plenty of power and while it is sporty, it is very comfy for those
longer journeys. There are 3 driving mode options- soft, automatic and
dynamic which are all changed at the touch of a button. When dynamic is
selected, the steering becomes more responsive, it turns into manual
mode with the paddle shift, the suspension becomes harder and the
throttle more responsive.
The car comes with factory option
S5 19 inch rims. The 260kw 4.2Lt V8 engine has a nice sound to it
without being over the top and reaches 0-100km/h in 5.4 seconds. The
rear of the car looks nicely balanced with twin exhausts (factory
standard) and the factory suspension allows the car to sit wide and low
enough to look nice, but not too low to be inconvenient to drive.
The
car is regularly serviced (log books available upon inspection) and the
battery was replaced 2 years ago. It has never been involved in an
accident and has never been driven on a track. We are the second owners
(predominantly Jess as the driver), and it originally came from NSW
where it was used to commute from Sydney to Newcastle on a daily basis
which explains the high kilometers. This car really has been a dream to
own, and I’m really sad to see it go, but unfortunately we don’t have
the space or the finance to keep it.
We prefer to be
completely up front and honest so as to not waste anyone’s time, so in
the interest of full disclosure, there is a minor scratch to the boot
lid, some signs of wear on the drivers leather seat, and a reasonable
dent down low on the passenger side of the front bar caused by a raised
parking curb (seen in the photos). Despite these minor cosmetic items,
the car runs amazingly well and is a great buy at this price.
